Looking for a fun outing with your family in Orange County this summer that won’t break the bank? Grab your blankets and lawn chairs and come on out for OC Parks’ 2024 Sunset Cinema Series to enjoy some of the most popular recent blockbusters and classic films outdoors in some of the best parks throughout the county.
The best part? It’s free! Not only is their no admission, but parking is also free in parks that normally charge for entry. The only reason you want some cash on hand is to take advantage of the food trucks on site or—if you’re over 21—enjoy a beverage from the beer and wine garden.
Those with kids (or those who embrace their inner child) can also enjoy the added fun of pre-show entertainment that includes character meet-and-greets, animal interactions, yard games, and more!
The concerts are held every Friday throughout the summer (with the exception of July 5 in observance of Independence Day that week), with the event starting at 6 P.M. and the movie beginning at sunset (usually around 8 P.M.).
