1. Easter Eggstravaganza at Irvine Regional Park
- Dates: March 22 – April 19, 2025
- Location: 1 Irvine Park Road, Orange
The Easter Eggstravaganza at Irvine Regional Park offers a wide range of activities, from train rides and photos with the Easter Bunny to an egg hunt every 20 minutes for kids 2+ (however, the egg hunts may sell out, so plan to arrive early to get a wristband for a specific time). There are also great photo op spots for the whole family!
2. Eggstravaganza at Disneyland Resort
- Dates: March 25 – April 21, 2025
- Location: Disneyland Resort, Anaheim
While your kids can collect plastic eggs at Irvine Regional Park, the whole family can get involved in the hunt at Disneyland Resort’s Eggstravaganza! You can get a map and stickers to help search for hidden “eggs” based on Disney characters in Disneyland, California Adventure, and Downtown Disney. Each location has it’s own map for $9.99 and redemption location where you can redeem a fun keepsake for finding all the eggs!
3. 10th Annual Mayor’s Egg Race
- Date: April 12, 2025
- Location: Civic Green, 100 Civic Center Drive, Newport Beach
Several OC cities also throw their own special Easter event, and the Mayor’s 10th Annual Egg Race in Newport Beach is among our favorites! The FREE event is a fun-filled morning for families looking to engage in some festive and interactive fun with their kids. There are more competitive activities like egg roll races and creative activities at craft tables in addition to trackless train rides, photos with the Easter Bunny, and more!
4. Sensational Springtacular
- Date: April 19, 2025
- Location: Vista Hermosa Sports Park, San Clemente
Another great community driven event is San Clemente’s Sensational Springtacular, which kicks off with an egg hunt featuring thousands of eggs filled with sweet treats. Afterward, enjoy live music and an opportunity to capture adorable photos with the Easter Bunny. If you purchase a $15 wristband, you can also enjoy games, inflatables, crafts, face painting, and more.
They are also apparently hosting a Splashtacular at the Aquatics Center from 12 PM – 4 PM, which is worth looking into if you want to play in the water too!
5. Spring Eggstravaganza & Sustainability Fair
- Date: April 19, 2025
- Location: Boisseranc Park, Buena Park
Another fantastic city-led event to check out is Buena Park’s annual Spring Eggstravaganza & Sustainability Fair! Start your day bright and early at 8:00 AM with a tasty pancake breakfast hosted by the Buena Park Noon Lions. Then, at 8:30 AM, dive into a day packed with family fun, including bounce houses, crafts, live entertainment, pony rides, and an adorable petting zoo. Don’t miss the Candy Scramble at noon—kids 12 and under will love racing to fill their baskets with treats. It’s a great way to celebrate springtime while learning about sustainability in a festive atmosphere!
6. Eggscavation at Atlantis Play Center
- Date: April 19, 2025
- Location: Atlantis Play Center, Garden Grove
The Atlantis Play Center’s Eggscavation is tailored for young adventurers aged 2-10. With egg hunts, a petting zoo, carnival rides, train rides, inflatable obstacle courses, and more, it’s a fun-packed afternoon that ensures every child leaves with a smile and a bounty of Easter eggs.
It’s $12 for child tickets and $3 for general tickets. There are no ticket sales at the door, so be sure to get them in advance! Ticket sales begin April 1. Get yours here.
7. Pretend City Children’s Museum Easter Celebration

- Location: Pretend City Children’s Museum, Irvine
Dive into the Easter spirit at Pretend City Children’s Museum with an event filled with Easter hunts, games, activities, and art, including getting to decorate eggs to take home. Pretend City Children’s Museum is already a magical experience for kids with its kid-sized pretend shopping centers (including a child-sized Trader Joes!), houses, gardens, and more.
