Orange County’s Top 3 Spots to Watch New Year’s Fireworks

As Orange County gears up for New Year’s Eve, three standout locations promise unforgettable fireworks displays: the magical Disneyland Resort, the vibrant Winter Fest at the Great Park, and the elegant Orange Hill Restaurant. Each venue offers a unique way to ring in the New Year with spectacular pyrotechnics, making them must-visit destinations for locals and visitors alike.

1. Disneyland Resort, Anaheim

Disneyland Resort is a magical destination for New Year’s Eve. The park hosts an extravagant firework show that’s a highlight for both children and adults. With special celebrations at various locations within the parks, visitors can enjoy a full evening of entertainment and wonder. This is by far the best place in Orange County to see fireworks up close.

Be warned, however, that this tends to be one of their busiest days of the entire year for this reason, so book your ticket reservations well in advance! If you cannot get tickets, you can also view the fireworks from Downtown Disney or the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure OR at some nearby rooftop bars (our favorites include RISE Rooftop Lounge and The FIFTH).

2. OC Fairgrounds, Costa Mesa

The OC Fairgrounds in Irvine is hosting Winter Fest OC, a community celebration with fireworks at both 6 pm and midnight. The event includes winter attractions, live entertainment, and seasonal food, making it a fantastic family-friendly option, particularly for those with children.

3. Orange Hill Restaurant

Celebrate the New Year at Orange Hill Restaurant, offering a luxurious dinner with an impressive view of the Orange County skyline. This spot is ideal for those looking for a more upscale way to ring in the New Year, and while there are not any immediately close by fireworks displays, those sitting on the patio or by a window will have a fantastic view of fireworks communities and locals fire in the distance.

Guests are also given a complimentary glass of bubbly, will get to enjoy a 5-course tasting menu, a live DJ, and other entertainment. Reservations are required for New Year’s Eve, which you can make here.

Reminder:
Event details can change, so it’s advisable to check the latest information and local guidelines before planning your visit.
