Orange County Restaurants Become the New Grocery Stores & Farmers Markets

Local Restaurants Pivot to Survive COVID-19

The innovation and resourcefulness coming from Orange County restaurants is impressive, to say the least. In today’s feature, we’re showcasing The Cannery‘s Farmers Market offering.

While The Cannery is not offering prepared food via take-out or delivery right now, they have pivoted to bring Newport Beach a Drive-Thru concept called the Lafayette Farmers Market.

Orange County Restaurants are the New Grocery Stores & Farmers Markets

Through this contactless drive-thru option, customers can purchase proteins like fresh fish and produce. This offering helps their unemployed chefs while giving Newport Beach residents another option to purchase food essentials.

The Lafayette Farmers Market is offered Monday-Friday from 11am to 5pm and is located at 3010 Lafayette Ave in Newport Beach, CA.

We’ve seen several restaurants shift to become the new grocery stores & farmer’s markets to help generate revenue during this difficult time. We’ve also seen the offering of meal-kits to go. If you’re interested in seeing more of these types of features, comment below!
